Annline's breeding group won BoB at
the Worldwinner Show in Helsinki 1998
I got my first pure bred dog in 1970. She was a pug , got a litter of 6 puppies and gained her CH title. When I went to mate my pug to Kennel Nurkkaniemi (owned by Mrs. Eva Lautiainen), I saw pembroke welsh corgies for the first time. I fell immediately in love with those funny looking fellos with big ears and short tails.
In 1970 I went to Nurkkaniemi to get my first corgi bitch, NURKKANIEMEN RIINA (CH Wennam Prince Regent x Stormebanks Fransesca). She was born in Finland but from English parents.
The first litter of Annline’s corgis was born in May 1974. From this breeding line came CH Annline’s Dark Sir Copy (CH Hildenmanor Annline Copy x Annline’s Dark Agneta).
Over the years I have imported four males from England: INT&NORD CH HILDENMANOR ANNLINE COPY, FITZDOWN JETTA, BIMWITCH TIBERIUS, CH SHALLIANNE ANTICIPATION, one male from Denmark: INT&NORD CH TUULANTEI TOIVO. My latest foreign import is a male from USA: FOXLLYN AUTUMN THOUGHTS.
These days Annlie’s corgis all originate from my two halfsister imports from Norway: INT&NORD CH SIGGEN’S YOUR MORNING JOY and NORD CH SIGGEN’S F’ANNLINE JOY. Annline’s corgis have been exported to e.g. Denmark, Holland and Italy.
During my 27 years with this lovely breed I have bred a lot of beautiful showdogs: 25 champions and about as many CC winners as well as many nice pets for people who have just wanted to have an excellent companion. This hobby has given me many good friends here in Finland and abroad.
The year 1998 was a breeder’s dream come true. At the Worldwinner show in Helsinki in June my lovely bitch INT CH ANNLINE’S GOLDEN DESIGN won BOB and my gorgeous male INT CH ANNLINE’S I’M DOING WELL won BOS. ANNLINE’S breeders’ group won BOB and placed THIRD in BIS competition. We were ever so thrilled!
Then at the Finnish Welsh Corgi Club’s Special Show in July my INT CH ANNLINE’S WELL DONE won BIS, CH ANNLINE’S GOLDEN DESIGN won BOS and my breeders’ group was BIS.
THE CORGI OF THE YEAR IN 1998 IN FINLAND for the third time running was CH ANNLINE’S WELL DONE and THE BEST BITCH OF THE YEAR WAS CH ANNLINE’S GOLDEN DESIGN.
